Loretta Chama  joined New Mexico Arts in 1988. She has assumed several job positions in the financial field. Since 2007, she has been in this position, which she finds very satisfying yet very challenging due to the constant changes in procedures in state government.

In her spare time, Loretta is a jewelry artist and also has many other interests in other forms of arts and crafts. She also enjoys traveling, attending sports events, and being outdoors.
