JoAnn Huff, Albuquerque

Commissioner JoAnn Huff is an active participant in music, art, and acting programs, and helps raise funds to support musical theatre. She says the arts have played a significant role in her survival of breast cancer. Huff is a recipient of numerous recognition awards including Woman's Day Magazine’s "Women Who Inspire Us" in 2002 and one of the 1990 Outstanding Women of New Mexico. She was president of Musical Theatre Southwest Amigos and volunteered as an usher and ticket taker at Popejoy Hall. Huff taught art in grades 1-5 for 29 years.
