Jenice Gharib serves as Program Coordinator for Arts in Social Service, Arts Learning in Schools, Local Arts Councils, and Statewide Service Organizations. She manages the New Mexico component of the National Endowment for the Arts Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest.

Her varied experience includes running an organic coffee company, starting a joint venture in Poland, and turning around a bankrupt cable TV company. More recently, Jenice has worked for arts organizations such as the Museum of Photographic Arts, the Southwest Literary Center of Recursos de Santa Fe, and Santa Fe Performing Arts. Jenice holds a B.S. in Accounting and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing. She has published articles, reviews, essays, poetry, and short fiction. Two of her short plays have been produced.
